Vapro Re-Invents Heat Sinks

Introducing World’s First Pool-Boiling Heat Spreaders & Heat Sinks

Liquid Chamber® Technology

Heat pipes and vapor chambers spread heat through evaporation. A heat pipe or vapor chamber contains very small amount of liquid, and must have wick structures throughout the inner walls in order to help the condensed liquid travel back to the evaporation site. The small amount of liquid limits the level of power it can handle. The complex and delicate wick structures make it difficult to manufacture and often create problems in many areas such as handling, servicing, quality control, and reliability.

Vapro’s Liquid Chamber® has an entirely different approach: it boils liquid. Because it utilizes boiling rather than evaporation, a Liquid Chamber contains a lot more liquid and it does not require any wick structures at all. This means that a Liquid Chamber can handle much higher power than heat pipes or vapor chambers, and that it does not have all the problems associated with wick structures.

Vapro has started a quiet revolution in the electronics cooling.
