Vapro adds 1U and blade server solutions for Intel's Xeon5500 family
Vapro Inc. today added two more products to its Nehalem (Xeon5500) heat sink product family. The new products, MS109BH, and MS109BL can cool all existing Xeon5500 CPU families in 1U or blade form factors compliant with Intel's LGA1366 socket specifications. Both products are available in copper-fin versions (MS109BH-Cu and MS109BL-Cu) and aluminum-fin versions (MS109BH-Al and MS109BL-Al). MS109BH product lines have 72 chamfered fins, whereas MS109BL lines have 55 chamfered fins. MS109BH family of product is ideal for 1U servers, whereas MS109BL family of product is meant for environments with lower airflow, such as in blade servers.

Vapro Inc. launches Nehalem cooling solution for 1U servers
Vapro Inc. today introduced its first standard product for cooling Nehalem (Xeon5500) CPUs for 1U servers. The product, MS109AH, can cool all existing Xeon5500 CPU families in 1U form factor. MS109AH is available in a copper-fin option (MS109AH-Cu) and an aluminum-fin option (MS109AH-Al). Both have the same number of fins: 72.
Because of the light construction of the base, MS109AH weighs only 470g with copper fins, and 306g with aluminum fins. Cu option gives the best performance, and Al option offers the lightest weight in the industry while delivering performance that is still better than most other conventional solutions.
